CEL code 32 EGR stuff
« on: September 01, 2006, 12:03:22 AM »

Hi, new to the forum and have a couple questions. I got an CEL code 32 a couple weeks ago...I thought it was a faulty code because my car was running fine. I pulled off the battery terminal to reset the computer just in case it was a false code. This didn't help but it CEL did happen to turn off a couple days later. Now 2 weeks later the code just came back on. I wouldn't be too worried about this as I've read and seen that it won't hurt anything most likely. The problem is I'm actually selling the car at the moment and its kinda hard to sell with a CEL on. I did a quick check on the EGR selenoid and all the vacuum hoses connected to it but couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. Anyone have any ideas about what I can do without replacing everything? Also, if anyone is interested my car is listed on seattle.craigslist.com for 2400

I should PM but I am too tired and lazy.  Define minor body damage... I might know somebody interested in your car.

if your boosted, it happens, just delete it, if ur not boosted, then erase it and see if it comes back, may have somthing to do with charcoal filter, but those rarely go bad
