Ok, quick update. $94.00 later, I finally got the relays in. Ya, I know, I got raped and still no good. Only part left at this point is the crank sensor. That was another 100 bucks so I took my chances with just the relays for now. I'm going to call Chrysler tomorrow and have it towed in for a diagnostic. I think at this point it needs a Chrysler scan tool. I'm out of ideas. I'm not gonna have them fix it though, just diagnose the problem and tell me what's wrong with it. Then I'll fix it myself. With my luck, it will be the damn crank sensor.  We'll see. I tell ya, after I'm done, this thing will be like new again. Literally. Last year it was the tranny. |

Ya, I caved. It's at the dealer now getting a diagnostic. It's worth the 100 bucks for me to know once and for all what the problem is. I miss my bring and I want it working again. Besides, 75 bucks a tank and 8 mpg are starting to annoy me with the truck i'm driving in the meantime.  Hopefully it's something else that I can fix. I'll hopefully know more tomorrow. |

Ok. Just got the phone call. The one and only damn thing I didn't replace.....THE CRANK SENSOR!!!!! It wasn't throwing a CEL but still logged a code in the computer. The tech told me only the Chrysler scan tool can access and pull some codes that don't trigger a light so I would have never known for sure. I knew I should have just replaced it anyway. I never did because there was no CEL. Oh well. I just told them to put it in. No sense in towing it home to put it in cause it will cost me almost as much in tow charges and they're gonna charge me in labor. 280 to put it in, including the part. The sensor is about 100 bucks and the tow is about 130, so it's costing me 50 bucks more for them to do it. I can pick it up tomorrow after they finish giving it a good once over to make sure all else is good. Live and learn. I guess I shouldn't listen people when they tell me to stop throwing parts at the car. One more and it would have been fixed. Once it's back in my hands and all is working, i'm gonna give her a nice Zanno treatment and a good romp around back roads. Can't wait. I hope my expensive problem gives people some insight on these issues to save them some greenbacks in the future.
If you ever have a no start no code problem, check the damn crank sensor! hehe
