Where can I buy a Shift solenoid??
« on: August 22, 2006, 05:55:21 PM »

My 98 goes into "limp" mode every now and then...  I think replacing this will help.  But Im not sure which one I need of where I should get it.

This is what Ive found so far...

http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/A604_41TE_shift_solenoid_assembly_p/570-00057393b.htm

http://search.stores.ebay.com/ECarOnline_TRANSMISSION-SHIFT-SOLENOID_W0QQfcdZ2QQfciZ5QQfclZ4QQfsnZECarOnlineQQfsooZ2QQfsopZ3QQsaselZ99955793QQsofpZ0

I can get you a reman solinoid pk or new,,  I have used remans many times with no
proublems and they save a few bucks ,, however I highly advise dropping your
trany pan and see whats in it and I would first replace the input and output
sencor and see if that solves your issue,, dont buy these at auto zone , go to
dealer ship....Roger Reynolds.......... e mail...rreynold@nemonet.com

Replaced the soliniod and still had probs...  reset the computer several times and fondled all the wires.  Seem to be working now.

The new solinoid is great... quite... and shifts faster.
