I checked to see what codes I would get using the Check Engine Light w/ ignition method and I got 12 and 55.

12- Battery Disconnect
55- Completion of fault code display on Check Engine Lamp

I dont get the battery disconnect since the car runs. My problem is w/ the tranny. See 96 Coupe Transmission problem thread. #55 I assume is what everyone gets after getting all fault codes read using the method below(which I used). Maybe someone can confirm this. In case anyone doesn't know the method I refer to do this:

*Turn ignition key ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON within 5 seconds.
*Count the # of times the Check Engine Lamp flashes. (first flash will come within a few seconds)
     -There is a short pause between flashes to represent the digits. Longer pauses separate 1st and 2nd digit.

Anyone knows what #12 refers to?
