My wife has a 95 V6 and I'm looking at the specs for output on the different years of V6s. What was changed to give the later years almost ten more horses?

I know the location of the fuel preassure regulator was changed from under hood to back by the fuel filter.    I have a '96 and my fuel preassure regulator is in the back by my rear passenger side tire/fuel filter/fuel delivery- to-tank tube.  Thats all I know, I heard it had to do with fuel management.

BUT do you mean the way the cars computer is calculated, or the way the test went on the car?
