Slipped a disk right at my pelvis and according to the doctor (Chiro) there is nothing I can do except wait and see for now. I've been best friends with a heat pad for 3 days now and just got a prescription for muscle relaxers (yippie)
Apparently there isn't just one thing that caused it. The mixture of me being a smoker, working on a cold concrete floor on my back for 3 days 8hrs a day that week, and getting up and off the floor numerous times while working on a car contributed to it.
OLD MAN MY ASS AHAHAHA
damn that sounds bad, i know how you feel though i am only 20 and both my knees are fucked. And fractured 3 vertebra twice

I used a creeper until I had to replace the starter on Mike's neon, his car was so low that I couldn't fit under (I'm not that fat, the car is lowered)
I feel a lot better today compared to last week, just taking deep breaths I can pop my lower back when I straighten up. Feels a ton better after I do that every 15min or so.
that sucks! take it from me. i completely empathize with you!
my advice, get a tenz unit. they work miracles! especially when you're outa drugs or the drugs stop working from prolonged use. after a while, you just get used to the medicine and it doesn't work anymore till you get off it for a week or two. and those two weeks are damned near unbearble without something. sometimes even drinking doesn't help as it can tense up those sore muscles too.
good luck with it and be very careful as you can easily damage more until this has passed. is it herniated enough to have to be surgically corrected?

it's better, but has moments when I forget and either move too fast or lay down too long. Hurts like the wrath of hell in the morning until I move around for 30 min or so.
Life for me these days sucks regardless, this is just more whip cream while I wait for the cherry on top.
