replacement brake caliper
« on: November 27, 2005, 10:49:21 PM »

Quick question to those with an answer: Last time i changed my brake pads i broke one of the bolts that hold the caliper to the hub. I recently bought a replacement caliper off of a '97 eclipse. I was assured this caliper would fit my '95 sebring coupe, but now that i have it, it looks kinda different, but the bolt alignment all looks good. This caliper should work, right?

Thanks for your help!

as long as the caliper is for a non-turbo eclipse it will fit just fine. the awd brakes are bigger and not a direct replacement for our brakes. the best way to tell is to look inside to where the pad mounts into the caliper. if you see one piston, thats the right one. if theres two pistons then you have the awd caliper

If you really want an upgrade, take the 95-99 gsx callipers and a gsx rotor, bolt it on, and you have a big brake kit with a dual piston calliper!!
