Yo all, just sayin I got some new subs hooked up.  I gots 2 rockford 12's (400w) pushed by a rockford power 500w d-class amp.  Sounds great but the 10hz bass sounds like it needs more voltage.  I guess you don't get good low hertz bass untill u spend $600 per sub lol.

I also just put in 2 300w (600peak) 3 way 6x9's in my venge, looks stock but sounds friggin awesome!  They are clifford audio, a canadian company and seem to rip pretty good.  They are free-air right now, being pushed by a full range rockford 100.2 old school amp at almost full gain and can handle more.  Anyone know if I make a box around them (fibreglass) if they will sound better/worse?  There was no manual with them and I can't find any info about them on the net so I don't know if they are meant to be free-air or if they need a box.  I'm guessing i'm fine untill I get a bigger amp to push them.

I also have a pheonix gold tantrum 300.2 that I blew the mosfets out of and it's out being repaired and I want to hook up that one to the 6x9's when I get it back but I don't want to blow the speakers if they need a box.  Any sound experts out there???

cool cool, let me know what u all are running in your ride...
