ScanPod
« on: December 12, 2005, 05:26:31 PM »
Ok, i got this ScanPod, which is suppose to look like a anti theft deterrant light....it gives me 3 wires: Black: GROUND RED: (Constant Power) Yellow: Connection to something that cuts off w/the ignition Since there is no radio fuse in the fuse box under the dash, can i use the amp relay? AND which fuse is "constant power" ANY Help would be greatly appreciated -d

try running the red wire into the cigarette lighter fuse and the yellow into the anti-theft, once u've done that sit in the car and lock the doors. it should work once the security light goes off. not sure if ur's is like the one i used to have but it worked for me

there's plenty of ways to power it, especially if it comes with the on/off button, just depends on where at in the car you're trying to place it.
