got a 98 Avenger ES. As you know, those are low profile tires. I feel EVERY bump on the road. Now when I go over a big bump it feels like my rear end has lifted off the ground.
I want to NEVER EVER EVER feel a bump. What cost efective way can I achieve this?
Agx's arent too cost effective though. I'd also suggest Tokico Illuminas but even the Kyb Gr2 would be an improvement as im sure your struts and shocks have high mileage on them.

Sell your car.. buy an old caddie or an old chrysler..
your gonna feel the bumps REGARDLESS of what you do.. it's part of owning a sports coupe.

Or just ditch the low pro tires and get some 60 series sidewalls.......... You'll kill the handling and look of the car, but you'll get what you want. I say live with it the way it is, but it sounds like you need to change your struts.
Illuminas with the lowest setting are still harsh AGX's are mush at the lowest setting and you'll float over large bumps, then dip up and down like a buoy a few times with stock springs. They're great mid setting and stock suspension though.
GR2's are stock, if you want the stock feel back then grab a set.
