i dont mind the scoop, what about molding the hood to avoid using it though? could be expensive, can be cheap...it all depends.

i mean, you would have to repaint the hood, but if done properly it will be more effective, efficient, and sturdy.

the hood scoop is not bad, but i personally don't care for 'em (on most vehicles). i think either doing like JBI suggested or getting the CF hood is def the way to go.

BAD ANTONY!!!! it's a sleeper not a ricer.

JBI is was merely tapping into your thoughts and elaborating a little more on what we all meant. Remember, I have that psychic thing going that my shrink told me about.

you could probably find one cheaper if you look around a little. that was the first one i found when i searched for it. looks like it might be really close to what you would want.

keep us updated about the drag racing thing. if i have the time/money and my car is back on the road i wouldn't mind swinging out there.

you gotta point, but i agree it should def be a sleeper all the way. the only way ppl should know something is up is by the sound, cuz let's face it, there ain't any hiding that… lol

yeah, quite exhaust. the mufflers on the new eclipses are pretty quiet, but less restrictive, something similar would work pretty well.

That CF hood looks perfect.  Looks like I'll be adding that to my phase II plans.  Thanks!  Phase II will begin after the kinks are worked out; at that time I'll begin detailing the car with little improvements (and some not so little: hood, new motor, body kit... Grin)
