as mat said RWD is going to launch better than FWD no matter what
OH MY GOD ITS ALIVE AND RUNNING...despite the lackluster time this is still probably the biggest and most clean swap on one of these cars out there....GOOD JOB seriously im in school to be a mechanic and i can only hope to be as good at this stuff as you...cant wait to see the 350 put in.
One concern i have is the shape of the bumper. i know you want to keep the exterior STOCK, however, will there be any problems with the exhaust pipes radiating heat that close to the bumper? I'm sure you'd be able to reshape the bumper to encompass the pipes without taking away from the stock appearance [to those who aren't really knowledgable about how the Avenger was set up on the exhaust system]. If you did decide to reshape either the pipes or the bumper, what i would do is route the pipes if there is room [IF there is room], to the two outer openings [one where the original muffler was and the other on the opposite side].
I am still VERY impressed.
And i'm an advocate for the extinction of the mis-use of V8 engines. lol. What good is power if it's handled irresponsibly?
agreed. i have dual exhaust and have mine running out the 2 outter openings… it looks really nice that way imo (i'll post pics later, if i remember, lol). i don't really care for the way the V8 venge's exhaust looks, being so close together… but that's just my personal taste, i've never liked dual exhaust being real close together… looks more aggressive being spread out to the outter most parts of the rear bumper imo. everything else is looking good tho! GREAT WORK so far! keep it up.
