95 venge... sometimes ... not all the time ... first gear feels notchy.  The previouse owner cut the shifter back to simulate a short shifter (but not a real short shifter package) and occationally is notchy.  If i rev up the engine a bit (the way you would a match-rev downshift in any other gear) it shifts fine ... anyone have any imput on it?  anyone else have this problem?

Possibly a synchro that is going bad, or you might have some burrs.  Nothing you can really do with out openning the tranny.  Usually expensive even just to look
