Has anyone used the bushing kit found at the link below. Just wondering if it is worth the money. Was also wondering if it will work for my 95 avenger ES.
I bought this kit and paid a lot of money for it. It is quality, BUT.... it is such a bitch to install this. You have to take apart basically your whole suspension piece by piece. It's hard getting the old ones out too. You then have to align the car when you're done. My mechanic wont even touch it and I'm going to sell it on ebay. If you pay someone to do it you're looking at like 8 hours labor at whatever they charge per hour plus an alignment. My mechanic also said that they stiffen up the suspension, but the fact that we have like 2 or 3 suspension recalls because our suspension components are soooo weak would scare anyone away. Just think what chrysler will say when something breaks. "you dont have stock bushings, these dont absorb shock as well as ours. Your recall isnt covered under warranty because of this." It isnt worth the hassle and headaches. You also have to lube them once in a while. Geesh.
