I've looked at it, and unfortunately, due to the clearance our trunk has, i would be near impossible for the wiper to be trunk mounted. Maybe one could put it at teh top of the rear window, but that would look odd, stick out, and I don't know if there is enough space between the liner and the hood for a motor to be mounted there (most likely: no) so a new lowered headliner would have to be made.
I wish we had a rear wiper. but unless you change the way the trunk opens, it can't be mounted with out major fitment issues :/

less than yours, and my intake is halfway painted silver so that gives me another +15 visual horsepower, if I raise my sunroof it will act like a spoiler and give me better downforce, if I raise my stereo up my subwoofer that is pointed backwards will help push me faster... I really don't think you have a chance man

well..I have no idea where to begin since I dont have one, but. I'd just find a stationary spot at the bottom of the glass. I dont really like the looks of it from the top...If you can stick it on there it should work..should also lower your insurance a bit..I think. it's a lil more valuable than rear defrosters.
That is going to be difficult. The rear window in the Avenger/Sebring is HUGE. Finding a wiper to fit that will be tough. The curvature will also give you fits for mounting and motion. Good luck!
I agree, not many cars have rear wipers unless they are a hatchback due to a lack of a place to mount the motor. You will most likely have to modify your trunk lid and seals... it will be very difficult to get them not to leak, along with the comments that TSX gave, the curvature and angle and size are going to be a b!tch. I am not saying it isn't possible, anything is possible with enought time, patience and money, I am just saying its going to be a lot of work. I wish you luck and if you figure out a way and get it to work PLEASE post pictures and a writeup.
So no REAL tips or ideas on the whole wiper thing well i guess i'll just have to figuer it out myself........... THIS IS GOING TO BE HARD!!!!!
I thought I had a real tip/idea Like I said, where are you going to mount the motor? The wiper blade without getting it stuck when you open the trunk? unless you put the motor in the trunk and the blade on the roof (which I think is impossible? probably) we just can't get it done with out a brand new trunk opening system

I think it is do-able, but why? Check with a local glass guy and see if cutting a hole at the bottom of your rear window is possible. Then mount the wiper motor on/in/thru your rear deck, wa-la! There are lots of cars out there with the wiper going thru the glass. But the gain you get from clear window better be worth the lose of window to look out of, due to the wiper motor. Just my $.02.
