Any of the "original" series flow masters sound deep.  There are others... but I cant remember the names...  If you have a 6cyl you dont need to worry... whatever you put on will sound good, they dont get ricey.

My friend just put a Borla on his Eclipse and it sounds nice and deep,  I had a flowmaster 40 series on my Venge and it sounded great.  I would suggest either of those two.  Grin

speaking of which...I had this guy (he owns an accord with literally 17 different colors inside and out) try to sell me this no name rusted muffler. I asked him how much (keep in mind I've never met the guy..just seen his car around...it's green with a silver spoiler, red and yellow flames on the hood, some red colored things on the front bumper, and horribly painted gold, yellow, silver, red, green, black, grey interior-and that's not all the colors) and he said..for you...I give it to you for 30 bux. I asked him to show me..It was in the back of his trunk..this excrement was rusted like a bolt sittin in water. n this guy was goin on and on how itz good ..."it give you dat woo woo sound, no rust"..n im like...is this guy even looking at the same muffler IM Lookin at ??..or is he jus sayin it cuz his english sucks and it just sounds like a good thing to say. THere was only one muffler in the trunk by the way..I just thought it was hilarious..

My car is an I4 5-speed has no catalytic converter on it and a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. Its deep sounding at idle and when you give it some throttle it's really raspy (but not with a ricey tone) sounding and it pops and crackles when you shift or let off. Doesn't sound ricey to me, it just sounds wild (I don't know how else to explain it).

ya see, I don't want any snap, crackle, or pop, in my exhaust. i'm not driving cereal, I'm not driving a speed bike, I'm driving a car that I wish sounded like a mustang.

anything less, fugheddaboudit.

My flowmaster had a bit of a rasp but not bad, and it was more of a gutteral gurglely sound when I was decelerating or shifting.

well... I heard the v8 vantage..I dunno..but it didnt sound horrid..but it didnt sound like it had a controlled exhaust. THe explosions were more "raspy" than smooth.

Oh ya...  You could always remove the resinator (sp?) too, that would make it louded and deeper... but I dont this it'll pass emissions.

Flowmaster FTW but I'd leave the resonator in. From what I heard it sounds like crap and like stl said it may not pass emissions  Undecided

I took my resonator out and it made it sound bad so I had to have one put back in.
