It just gives people another alternative then spending 5k for a turbo/supercharger kit. I am going to school with a kid that has a dodge shadow with a 6g72 swapped in and he is going to put a m90 on it. Shouldnt be too difficult. I will get pictures of it when he's done.
Start adding in all the other parts and see what the total comes to. If you can do the install on everything yourself, then yes it keeps the price down a good bit. But how many people have the tools and know how to do it themselves CORRECTLY?
That would be the Shadow with the MegaSquirt in it, correct? And how much money does he have into his setup currently?
All I am saying is, boosting ANY car, the total price climbs a lot more than you think it will when you start.
