Had a weekend full of racing. Hit testntune Friday at Capitol raceway, followed up with the turbododge meet on saturday, and yet more test-n-tune at capitol today.
And then, I made this absolutely killer pass, i knew it was fast. The pass before it was 11.782 @ 123 mph and it was still really rich while under load. I had rejetted the nitrous, and came out as the first car after the outlaw pro-street cars ran. The launch shook me silly, came out the 60' in 1.728 seconds, spraying the nitrous right out the hole, car was absolutely dead hooking and hauling ass down the track, i knew i had never went this fast before because at the 1000' mark I realized I was going to HAVE to shift into 5th gear or hit the rev limiter in short order. into 5th gear it went and blasted through the traps... end result..
11.372 @ 127.1 mph
couldn't improve on it anymore, they wouldn't let me race anymore. Said I either had to tone it down or put a roll cage in my neon, but since it's my daily beater, it's not getting caged. Car will be toned down for the winter time and just driven to enjoy still have to decide on if it's coming out next year on the stock turbo or an upgraded one. I'm only the 2nd car in the top 10 to NOT have an upgraded turbo on the car at all.

the avenger has a bit more to go, goes up next month for the roll cage and all
megasquirt is installed and wired, but not fully tuned yet, i took the old star manifold/50 trim turbo off the car, put an equal length manifold on it and trying to find a good deal on either a gt35r or a gt40 turbo
then finish building the dash/console, and away she goes. I got all the real big excrement done finally, but had too much fun with the neon this year and didn't finish it. I hit my goal with the srt-4 already, so now it's time to get the avenger finished up and have 2 11 second cars sittin in the driveway... if not faster

actually no, cecil is the fastest track in the area, that's where I was saturday. I just had issues on saturday otherwise I woulda ran that w/ease up there lol
