Another coolant leak topic.
« on: May 16, 2006, 09:48:12 PM »

I have coolant leaking from the timing belt cover, and its been doing it since back in November. Now it only leaks when I first start the car up but it doesn't leak out a lot maybe a couple of drips every 7-9 seconds but after it hits normal temp it stops, could it be that the gasket expands after it gets hot and stops the leak? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Could be heat expansion. It will definately get worse, so might as well tear her down and fix it up!
