Blinker
« on: April 21, 2006, 03:57:12 PM »

I have run across a problem in my car a couple of days ago. I started my can and my left blinker was on. the blinker was in the neutral spot. i tried turning off my car and starting it again. didn't work. i took the fuse out and i shut off my blinker, but when i put it back in, left blinker back on. tried disconnecting the battery....didn't work. anyone know how to reset the computer? or knows what is wrong?

Could be your switch is busted.  Have you tried turning the other blinker on?  I'm betting the switch.

Someone from the Civic forums probably broke it Grin

I can get it for $60 its normally $120.  That would be brand new. Plus shipping of course.  I would check the wrecking yards, prolly get one for a lot less.

When I was in HS we had a girl in tears because she couldn't find the blinker fluid bottle in her car and her signals wouldn't work.  I felt kinda bad so I finally told her that there was no blinker fluid.  In retrospect... I should let somebody else tell her, I still have scars. Grin
