1  General Category / Questions and problems / Got some questions... on: August 17, 2006, 06:09:21 AM
I'm kinda new around here....and looking for some answers to a few questions.  I just bought a 96 Avenger ES about a month ago and already have a few issues with the car.  Nothing major....already fix those.....they are just inside the car and gonna drive me nuts if they don't get fixed.

- The lights on my climate control don't light up (only one is the air(snowflake) button).....how easy is this to fix?  And if it is just my lights that are burnt out, how many lights are behind the panel?

- I have the manual side mirrors, the driver side one's triangle piece on the inside of the window is cracked on the bottom, pulled away from the window and kinda just hangs there.  Evertime I get into my car I have to readjust the mirror.  Is there any way to fix it without buying a whole new side mirror?

- I found out one night my rear window defogger doesn't work at all.  I have the button on the dash and the defogger running along my window.  Could the button not be hooked up right or is there a fuse that would control that could be blown?  Or is there something else that could not let it work?

- On the windows you can tell there were a bunch of parking stickers in the windows (almost every window).  Any easy way to get all the sticky residue off?

Thanks
Sarah
