I still don't like it Tongue

... but the thought that if it were a 2 door, maybe, just maybe I might like it... but since that is a dream... Tongue

Gen 1s FOREVER!

(out of curiousity, would this be considered a gen 3? even though the 95-96s are the same as the 97-00s but only differ by small things, would you consider the whole bunch as gen 1 and the new ones as gen 2 or gen 1s (95-96) gen 2 (97-00) and gen 3 (07-XX)... I'm gonna say we're all gen 1s)

I'm looking at buying a set from http://www.xenonpros.com/mc3000k.html (those ones)

I've been watching a lot of racing on SPEED in the last few months and fallen in love w/ the Porsches w/ those yellow headlights... that set i found is the closest I could find.

Basically, I'm gonna do it as soon as I can spare the cash.

But, I was wondering has anyone put in a kit such as this? (not nescessarily the yellow 3000K bulbs, but a kit like the one I'm looking at)

Should look pretty tight Smiley

in my opinion, they are Avengers in name only.  I don't really see any resemblence to our cars.  I don't know the facts but what DOES it share with ours? the tranny? Not enough of a similarity to have them apart of this community... I prolly sound like a jackass, but what could we do to help someone w/ one of them?

I feel they should form their own community, and when both are of equal size, then possibly merge... just a thought

I'll have to see what my work/school schedule looks like. I haven't been to a meet yet.

^ same

I'm living in Milwaukee, my car is in Berlin (west of Oshkosh)... there is a slight possibility that I might be coming home that weekend and could stop up.
I really need to get some ideas for my car and talk to others... we'll see what happens

So if you're living here I assume you go to UWM.

no, better. Marquette University Smiley

yep, oil line running to gauge... dam why oh why was i so stubborn to get the full sweep gauge over the partial sweep? (full sweep only offerd in mechanical)  oh well, I guess i'll have to deal with it for now, least it looks bad ass Smiley

think an oil filter block adapter might solve this problem?

... and yes, crank windows suck

Hey I Got It!

Well i got all teh gauges up and running!  My only problem is that the OP gauge is giving me weird readings (like 60 @ idle, goes down to bout 20-25 after a while).  My thoughts are that there is air in the line.  To my understanding of the oil pressure sending unit, there will always be air in that system.  I believe that only when u start the car and it is running that there is pressure to the unit, (hence why your oil light is on just as u turn the key to start your car, and why the air will stay in those lines because the oil will drain back down to the pan.) Am I right to think this? and if I'm wrong does anyone know how to get those reading right?

O well life goes on, and it still looks cool!

Pics in a sec!
