I'm selling my custom fiberglass sub enclosure.  Fits left corner of trunk, and has a black carpeted finish to it.  Made for 12" sub, has roughly 1.2 cu ft. of space, sealed and filled with pillow stuffing.  Asking $100 shipped w/o sub, or $150 shipped with sub (old style American Pro Bullet Sub).  Grill included if you'd like.

I'll keep your offer in mind, but I'll wait a few days and see if something better comes up.  Wink
6  Market Place / For Sale / CSK-C Chassis Stiffening Kit by D3 Designs **SOLD** on: January 06, 2007, 01:34:10 AM
The entire kit has been sold.  Thank you.

I'm selling my chassis stiffening kit for the Dodge Avenger.  Kit includes front strut tower brace, front lower chassis brace, rear lower chassis brace, and all mounting hardware.  I installed the kit three months ago for autocrossing and noticed a real difference, reducing lap times by around 10%.  It reduced understeer, tightened up turns, and kept the wheels grabbing the road.  I noticed a tighter feel to the car's suspension as well.  All in all I've been very satisfied with the kit.  I'm selling the Avenger now, and removed the kit so I can pass it on to another Avenger driver who'd like it.  Brand new it was $365 plush shipping, and I'm asking $260 shipped.  The entire kit is pictured below.  Here's the link to the D3 Designs website with other pictures and information about the kit: http://www.dthreedesigns.com/shoppingcart.php?username=Guest&password=Guest#

If interested, reply to this post or PM me.
Thanks.

7  Tech Forums / Suspension and Brakes / Re: Aftermarket struts at stock height improve handling? on: July 07, 2006, 01:18:27 AM
Thanks downer,
I may just get GR-2's with a chassis stiffening kit.  Anybody know where to get a spring compressing tool (or other unusual tools I'd need to replace the struts myself)?

Hey all,
Its time to replace my old struts and I'm looking for the right upgrade.  I don't want to drop the ride, it's a pain being as low as it is already.  I do want to improve handling, though.  Are stiffer struts the way to go?  Are adjustable struts worth the extra cost?
