1  Tech Forums / Body Mods / New door hinges on: January 19, 2007, 11:19:46 PM
I am replacing the hinges on my venge since my drivers side hinge needs replaced badly.

I was thinking about the bolt on lambo hinges from Door Conversion.

For the bolt ons you still need to cut the fender right? And if so how difficult is it?

Same problem.. same intake.

The bends seem to be way off on where it connects to the throttlebody. The tubing is to long after the bend to attatch to the 3 inch coupler.

Did you find a way around the problem yet or is it still giving you trouble?

Just to add to this.

If you were to go with a short ram is there a big difference between them? Some are drastically different in price for the same looking pipes and bends.

Took it in for a diagnostic.

They said my internal and external tranny speed sensors were shot. Doesnt really sound like the problem but they said everything else ran good.

Alright, thanks for the help.

From reading most of the post I was already planning on a cold air intake. I just need to find a garage to work in.

To go into depth a little more. Normal driving conditions it used to shift at around 4000. If I floor it, always shifts at around 6000. But lately even accelerating slowly it will get up around 6000, make a high whine type noise then finally shift. Im not sure if this will make a difference but I just bought the car in november. The seller said he had it in storage for 2 years, after it was bought I had a tranny flush... but then again the dealership here isnt known for their honesty. So, I will add that to my to do list.

And another random question. If an o2 sensor fails will the service engine light come on?

Well, this is my first post. Before I start Id like to say that im not incredibly car smart.

I have a 99 venge that I got last november. It started out running fine. Right about the start of spring Ive been noticing that that it now usually hits 6000rpms before shifting. Is this normal?

Also, what kind of things would be most beneficial to replace/upgrade right away?

Thank you,
Adam
