yeah, i dont like stangs at all, actually im not really a ford fan. vettes on the otherhand have always been one of my favorate cars. ever since i was like 3 and knew what a car was i was in love with the corvette. not many people know what this is but being as how most of us are car crazy, the lingenfelter twin turbo corvette is one of the most discusting (in a good way) cars money can buy, especially for the price. as far as the bring/venge goes, ive liked them since they came out and hopefully by spring time ill have the bring able to beat just about any vette and all stangs. its about time to take a stand people, we need to start making our cars ungodly fast. theese kids in mommy and daddys bmw, bens, vetts, stangs and whatever else need to fear us!!!!!
i am a honda hater, but thats a bad ass car right there. im with you guys though, come spring time im hoping to be pushin out 400 hopefully more whp at 25psi! its time to make our cars fast boys...... and girls
i was thinkin bout this for a while now but came up with a, what i think, more locical idea. this is frickin awsome though, im glad to see that someone finally got up enough brass to actually do it. i know you will but i have to say it anyway, PICS, PICS, PICS, im sure i speak for everyone when i say we want tons of pics when this is done. thats gonna be one of, if not the baddest venge on the face of gods green earth. good luck with the rest of the project and i hope all goes well with it.
im having another lil prob folks!!! i forgot about the turbo manifold for my 420a powered bring. anybody know where i can pick up one of those that is for the mitsu g series turbos, NOT the t3 t4 type turbos??
my bring had the same prob, hopefully for you its the tierod ends. on mine it was the wheel bearing then not even 1000 miles later the other one went. put the car in the air, grab the tire on the top and bottom and push and pull on in. if in shakes, its most likley the bearing, just in case you didnt know that lil trick. good luck with it and hope its not the bearing!!!
What do you mean 2" shorter on the mounts ???or the top rod
the struts that they sent me are about 2 inches shorter than my stock ones and the top rod is def way longer than the stock one. even with the longer rod the aftermarket struts are still 2 inches shorter and even if i wanted to use them, with that longer rod on the struts they sent me i wouldnt even be able to close my hood!!! yeah, autoparts warehouse sucks, i wont ever order from them again and i would recommend anybody else do either
k, heres my problem, i ordered a whole new suspension for my 95 bring with the exception of springs which i already had. so, i have everything in except for the struts. i ordered everything from autopartswarehouse.com and the struts they sent me are about two inches shorter then stock and i dont, im almost positive that thats not right but when i called the company they said that i was sent the right parts. they told me that the struts i had were the only struts listed in their data base for the bring/venge/eclipse and talon. will somebody please tell me if theese struts are sposed to be that much shorter or if i really do have the wrong parts, i wanna get my car back on the road but their bein a**es about this. any help would be appreciated, thanks all
hes right, everything is the same between the 95-99 4cyl bring/venges and the 95-99 4cyl non turbo eclipse/talons. i have a 95 bring and i heve coilovers for an eclipse in her. not sure what exactly is different with the turbo versions but when i ordered mine they made me specify if it was turbo or not cause i ordered them for an eclipse cause i couldnt find em for a bring
ok people, i need a lil help here. i just got myself a new toy for the bring, a 20g turbo, a huge front mount, and all other parts for my 420a motor. however i am having a few problems finding forged pistons and rods so if anybody happens to know where to get some or has a spare set laying around it would be appreciated if you could let me know!! thanks much
