i was gonna do the same thing and actually had it started with 300z bucket seats test fitted in the back. it looks awsome and isnt all that hard, i just decided to eliminate the back seat all together and just do a stereo.
go with the suzuki, its just my opinion and i have nothin against anythin but honda, i just like gixers. and why buy a porsche? i just spent $1000 on a car thats as fast as just about any porsche, new or old, and with another $1500 that i have planned over the winter, ill be able to smoke just about anythin. yes they look nice, but $60,000 for a pretty slow porsche or $2500 at most for a mid 10 second sleeper, you do the math!! ahhhh cars, i love em!
Scratch the resonators. The tone and loudness of your exhaust depends alot on your pipe size... you would want to do 2.25" or 2.5". The bigger you go the louder. Also different sounding. Every little thing makes a difference, like amount of bends, type of bends... etc..
very true, a friend of mine just put a full 4" exhaust on his FULLY built 3000gt-vr4 (anywhere from 900-1000hp at least on full boost and thats no lie) and that thing screams and rumbles the ground at the same time. its pretty damn crazy

good stuff man, i hope all works out for you. i too do painting, and SOME minor custom paint work like tribals and flames. you know, easier things like that where as im only 25 and def dont have the expierence you do. good luck with that and if you get pics of the boat im sure most of us would like to see them along with some of these big name helmets youre bragging about!!
Cut it out and get 6.5s I've never hear of 5.5..... 5.25 or 5X7
i dont know bout 5.5's but there are def 5 1/4 and 5x7's i know that for a fact and bad venge is right crutchfield is usually wrong and as far as im concerened, WAY over priced! i can go to a local shop and get everything they have in crutchfield for like half of what crutchfield charges and im sure a lot of you can too.
yeah i had an eclipse front bumper on my bring for a while after i destroyed my custom made fiberglass front end. the only major prob i had was around the headlights, specifically on the inside. the bumper was urethane so i just bent the hell out of it but it did fit for the most part so you shouldnt have any probs with the conversion. good luck!!
i got one i can sell you too. im in elmira ny and it runs like a champ and no tranny probs. does need a hood and a front bumper tho. no damage, i cracked the fiberglass front end by draggin it on the ground like a dumb a$$ and the hood wasnt bolted down when i rebuilt the motor. we had a storm, the hood got tossed and twisted like it was nothin. im in no hurry to get rid of it but did get a built awd eclipse and just havent had the time or money for the bring anymore so pm me if youre interested.
