it was a floor model, came with the box and head unit thats it.. i dont know if its under warranty if it is, ive got no paperwork that will say so.. ??    i miss my pioneer.

I just bought a floor model kenwood deck from a small audio store about 4 months ago, it had been working great then all of a sudden when I put a cd in it just spits it right back out.  I tried to clean the laser reader but that did nothing.  I really hate to junk it and have to get a new one, but I also hate to spend more than the deck's worth to fix it.  Any ideas or suggestions? 

Alright, so I'm driving home last night and its decently foggy, I'm thinking about something else and not realizing that a stop sign is approaching faster than I realized.  I see it at the last second and hit the brakes, the pedals to the floor but the car is slowing down very slowly.. i barely stopped in time.  I've been lookin up on brake fade and people are saying it happens after you do alot of hard braking.. I hadn't before that.. I've noticed that happen before too and I was only going about 30mph in the city and someone pulled out in front of me, same thing happened.  It sounds like it might be fluid fade but I'm not sure..  I checked the brake fluid, it looks like its healthy, the color is fine.. but I don't know, does anyone have any suggestions? 

i just looked it up, yours are different.. 95 has different gauges than a 96+ or so the website where i bought them says...  mine was a 97

lol wow i need to come on here more often,  but yeah I believe I put it up here for sale too.  Was sorry to see it go.  I almost wish I could've sold it to someone on here, the 16 yr old kid that bought it has gotten numerous tickets with it, he drove it to school one day and some kids stole the hood pins and he drove it down the hwy.. thats when he noticed they were missing... 600 dollar hood gone.  Worst thing is I have to see him driving it around.. arg.
