I spent like 6-7 hundred tonight. My big purchase was a 229.99 garage door opener for Emily. We have a big two stall, but only one had an opener. Now she can stay in her car and open it.
wow is that a gold plated garage door opener? seriously tho, why did it cost so much?
yeah that bentley is a pain in the arse. parst are really expensive. we ended up wiring up a universal fuel pump in to get fuel to her. it has a lot of really quirkey things that are making themselves known like wierd directional lugs. one side goes left, the other right. and the brakes are a bit#h. drums are crusted on and will be a lotta fun to deal with. ill keep you guys updated with pics to come. im glad asog is back.
at my school my teacher just scored us 2 new roject cars. the first is a 1957 bentley sedan. its in pretty rough shape, but as of last week we had it running with a little ether and a lemans ignition coil. the second car is a 1969 buick skylark with a 350cid. we have some pretty cool plans for this one. were doing a body off resto, swapping in a 455, and tidying up little bits and pieces that need to be done. ill try to post pics this week when i have my camera.
I haven't gotten to road test the Skyline, it wasn't done when I left. And the FD isn't road ready yet. But I'm going to drive both at some point. The Skyline will probably be later than the FD since I only see the Skyline once every 3-4 Months.
that is soo cool. its a dream of mine to work on or more importantly drive a skyline. i love teh r33 body style a lot better than the r34. from what i hear have fun with that nismo clutch if its equipped. supposedly its like learning to drive manual all over again.
