i will be helping my buddy replace the tranny in his 98' passat aeb 1.8t.  he has teh automatic trans.  anyone ever do thins and run into any prolems that i should be aware of?

if your going to drop the cash at a shop get the true duals, not the y pipe my bro's sunfire gt had the y pipe and exhaust only flowed through the one side... stupid and a waste of money.

sorry about resurecting an old thread, but who has seen the new viper?  i have caught my first glimpse of in in this months car and driver.  punched it out to 8.4 liter and now has 600 horsepower.  can you say wheelspin? 

i use it whenever going on long trips.  seem to have to stop less for gas, so i guess that means better milage.

i wouldnt talk about using fram filters on this site, everyone including me believes that their absolout $hit.  stick to mopar or napa(wix)

i had the same problem and i had to use a good dose of PBlaster(awesome stuff) and i found taht it helped if you beat the $hit outta the rotor between the wheel studs.  dont make the same mistake i did and hit the studs tho, re-threading them is a real pita.

i personally dont think that the ert kit is worth the price.  if i want that much more power i will buy a new car imo.

i've heard somewhere that its el nino that is to be blamed for the unseasanable warm temps.  colorado and the other parts of the mid west are getting hit with snow, only we arnt.  if it was global warming, then no one would be getting snow.  thats how it was explained to me.

v-tec is a great thing.  thats all i can say.
