I need info on avenger 2.0 a/c compressor please. I'm installing a used compressor which is easy. What I don't know is how much compressor oil to put in and where to pour it into. The book is useless (Haynes) as it only tells about removal and install. Also, can someone please look at the compressor on a 2.0 and tell me if, looking from the front of the car, does the high pressure line or the low bolt to the front on top of the compressor?
Has anyone replaced the compressor on a 2.0? I purchased a remanufactured compressor which came without clutch and pulley. How do I remove these items from the old compressor and put on the new one? Also, where do you drain compressor oil from. Book tells you nothing except how to remove and install the compressor.
I purchased a used power steering pump for my 98 Avenger 2.0. I just tried to install and it's not the same as the old one. Contacted the yard where I purchased and he gave me the VIN of the car it came from. The VIN is for a 1995 Avenger 2.0. It came with the bracket and pulley. The pulley is smaller than the original and the bracket mounts 90 degrees from where mine does. Are the 95's supposed to be different from he 98s? Any info would be helpful and appreciated.
Can anyone give me some help on installing a rear bumper add on for my son's Avenger? The piece attaches to the stock rear bumper. I know it screws to the wheel well but what is recommended to attach to the bumper? I've heard double sided tape, liquid nails, a product called fusion. Any help would be appreciated.
How about the antenna assembly? Metal trim around doors attached to roof? Cup Holder and Cover? I'm in Central PA-Shipping should be inexpensive. How about a price? Thanks
