i would love to do it but i have been layed off for the past 6 months so asa far as that gos its a bust. I am just trying to help the cause. So far im still trying to locate a tcm for an autostick and a new transmission mine took a crap on me. All it has is first gear and when you put it in reverse you can feel it engage but it just grinds dont no if i can just rebuild it or if i need a new one
y cant we use ecm and wiring harness out of 3rd gen eclipse and the cluster out of the 2nd gen they look like they would be a direct bolt in, the only problem i see is that the cluster might be off with the ecm. Doing the wiring swap isnt hard did it in my 89 formula to an lt1 in
dumb question but will the tranny out of the daytonas bolt up the the 3.0 eclipse motor. and how does the eclipse motor run there crank sensor off the tranny or motor
ive already got the fuel pump up to a walboro, and i have been looking for info but cant find much out there. If i cant get more info i have a friend that works at a local salvage yard that got a hold of a lancer engine and tranny. If i have to i will put the turbo of my motor on it but i want to try to make this work first
I have a 2.5 sebring and am wanting more power. I have a wrecked gs-t that the insurance company totaled out and i was wandering if the motor and tranny would fit in the car. I have all the parts from the gs-t motor, tranny, turbo, all wiring harness and ecu.
like i said newb question was told by a salvage yard that they were about the same motors just different heads thats why i asked thanks for being a dick about it tho
