bone stock 1.8T is around 150hp but things like chiped ECU and turbo upgrade (FMIC for example) can really gain major horse power.

oh and it is either, Golf OR GTi... cant be both 

(golf = 5 door;  gti = 3 door)

try vr6 next time, umm go for 2002+ year.  they got about 200hp....  mine got only 170hp
