Sounds like the accessory wire.  All the things that aren't working are things that need the accessory wire to have power.  The things you're listing that work are things that don't need the accessory.  It's possible that your ignition is bad.  When you turn the key it's not making a connection to the accessory.  If you lived close enough to me, I'd be glad to drive over and check it out.  If you have a multi-meter you can test the wires coming out of the ignition for voltage.

Used or new.  If used how many miles?

Rockauto.com has it for 8.22 for just the part.  Labor varies.

LOL, I don't think most people read the suspension area too often.  Are you talking just the hardware or are you talking the labor as well?

I would NOT want a girl for my first kid.  Not to say that I wouldn't love her just as much.  But once the little girl years are over, and you have boys and periods.  I'd rather a son!  I'd be so fricken worried about her.  I know it's a double standard, but I was a guy that I wouldn't want my girl near, and the parent's never knew.  That worries the crap out of me.
5167  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Abortion on: January 05, 2006, 10:27:04 PM
Then why should the child live and the mother die?  That's for those saying there's no reason there should be abortion.

I had a lengthy reply to this but when ihit submit transnet demanded me to log in. So in short...

As a mother, I would rather die than know my baby lost its life so that i could live mine.

But would you choose your husband or your unborn child?  Like Steve was saying, now the father is left alone.  Everything he built with you is shattered because of that choice.  And in opposition to Steve's point of the father blaming the kid for losing the mother (I agree with it But...) the father could also blame the wife for losing the kid.  I would hate to choose, but if the wife will survive, or has a really good chance at surviving, that's the path I'd take.  Why let a person that has a life already started and underway die, instead of the person that has accomplished nothing.  I know it sounds harsh breaking it down to pure logic.  I would never want to make that choice.  But if I have to. I've already come to terms with it.

I am pro-"keeping my nose out of other peoples business".

I am against abortion when it is my child.  But otherwise, I am not perfect enough to tell others how they should live their life.

I can go with that.
5169  General Category / General Discussion / Re: George Bush on: January 05, 2006, 07:16:38 PM
I don't know how Kerry would've been.  But I voted for Bush the first round, and then found out what he could do.  So I voted against him the next round.  And as for doing something about it, there's not much point.  I don't have the money or the power to get noticed for an impeachment to be an option, AND I don't have to worry about him making it to a third term.  So I get to sit back and watch our foreign relations dwindle, more soldiers die, and people without jobs.  Not to mention the opening of the border to Mexico.  The White House wants to ask Mexico for help with the border.  Mexico just circulated pamphlets on how to safely cross the damn border.

5175  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Gay Marriage on: January 04, 2006, 08:27:42 PM
Yeah neither group should be able to FORCE it's views on anyone.  Gays want to get married fine, but do NOT expect everyone to feel the same way, and DO NOT force the churches to OK it.  It's a lot like interracial was back in the day, not even that far back.  Everyone thought it was hedonistic, and guess what the world hasn't exploded.  Gays will be mostly accepted just the way blacks are now.  There will always be tension because when someone is noticably different, someone will hate them.
