Could be a bad throwout bearing. Be careful you can screw your whole tranny if it is. If it was sitting in there weird and then it popped back in place it could cause that feeling. And a bad throwout bearing will cause the tranny to kick out of gear do to vibrations. Also possibly a bad clutch. Do you have any slipping? Put it in third from a stop get on the gas and slowly let out the clutch. If the RPMs climb then your clutch is shot.
Could be the tranny but not likely the NV's are a pretty big powerhouse when it comes to trannys.
i drove a car like yours the other day at work, didnt want to stay in gear, the shifter would physically pop out and neutral was tricky to find. to top it all off the clutch saftey switch didnt work properly.
so normally i get in turn the key then push down the clutch til it starts. yeah, it just started, in gear, lurched froward into the curb
sorry for the rudeness, bad day today.. my sentra is probly gunna blow up anytime now.
but we get alot of people who come on here with "how can i rice this car out" posts. so we like to trounce those guys quick, and thats kinda what your post started out like.
also, get new door handles, or at least be prepared to at any moment drop the cash for new door handles, because unless they've been replaced previously they WILL FALL OFF IN YOUR HANDS. all the DSMs have problems with this.
i'll get some better interior and engine pics soon
O_o
i likes alot
i love the eclipse dash, when i find a donor eclipse(and time ) im going to do that.
also...did you sacrifice your center vents for....im not sure what, looks like a air/fuel gauge/controller? and what are the two gauges on the A-pillar?
Gas isn't too bad. Just try not to look like to much of a baby when the mucus is flying down your face and your teary eyes are blurring your vision.
Lemon juice is the answer to all your burning questions. If you can get a hold of some (not lemon pledge!) Go buy a bottle that looks like a lemon and spill some on a washcloth. Then wipe your face. The chemical reaction takes away all the damaging properties of both CS and OC which is what I'm assuming you'll be getting hit with.
yeah, dunno about the lemon juice, as long as you avoid getting it directly in your eye it can't hurt.
just do what your drill instructors tell you, generally they won't do anything to make it worse.
Sounds like BS to me. While electrolysis like this is an experiment done in many high school science classes, conservation of energy still applies. You won't get more energy out of burning the by-products than you put into the system electrically to break down the water in the first place. Given all the losses of your standard internal combustion engine and drive train, you'd be better off tying an electric motor to your drive shaft to use as an acceleration booster a la hybrids...
like i said, i know it sounds like B.S. but one of my instructors built one similar and he got 30-40% increase in MPG (when he keeps his foot out of it ). and i think where this confuses people is that this is an additive, not a fuel, so the purpose of the hydrogen isnt to power the car, its to help the fuel you're already using get maximum effeciency. so the best way to look at this is a effeciency enhancer NOT a power enhancer.
I have the cartoon also.. thinks it's still in the package. lol
I will be going to see the movie though sometime. My brother said it kicked ass.
yay keep it in that plastic and you could regift it to a nephew or somethone for christmas!!! the problem with the cartoon movie was that there was no back story, and i kinda got that vibe with the real movie... but maybe they did it on purpose so people would go out and buy the comics... hmm. cause thats what i wanted to do after i saw the movie...
i suspect the opposite is true, it was probably assumed that the people buying the movie were already iron man fans, and have read all the comics before seeing the cartoon. which iron man is an awesome comic book series, if you're into that sort of thing.
back on point: the movie is awesome, its got alot of references to comic book stuff, but not to the point that it alienates those who haven't read the comic. and if you have read the comics, specificly the avenger series(which feature iron man) STAY AFTER THE CREDITS!!!! if you aren't a comic book fan, stay anyway.
no emblem. it looks more racey but not stock. I think the aluminum looks too out of place and ricer. it all depends upon the overall mood you are trying to achieve when styling your car. When you decide definitively what you want your car to be, you will have no problem figuring out which to choose.... but this is all my opinion, but in the yours is the only one that matters
if they forgot the piston rings you need to find you some new engine guys. seriously piston rings is like step 2 of reassembly. step 1 is making sure you have your piston rings.
