275  General Category / General Discussion / Re: CHECK THIS OUT on: February 17, 2008, 04:08:46 PM
the T-Rex isn't as practical as you would think. No weather shelter so you're stuck with only being able to drive it on sunny, clear days.

The Carver is alot more practical for the fact that it shelters the driver from the elements.

yeah, T-rex would probably be more fun...but the carver looks pretty fun too.

A Tyranasaurus Rex would be even more fun. ROAAAR.
276  Tech Forums / 4 Cylinder Tech / Re: check engine light code 21, sometimes 34, when i sit at a light for too long on: February 17, 2008, 04:00:21 PM
there are 2 O2 sensors. There is one before the cat and one after the cat.

For Code 34, check the pipe before you replace the egr. Mine was cracked and causing a leak. I finally realized it after having my car for 4 years.

oh yeah, thanks, i didnt even think of looking at that.

yeah, heet is cheap, also heet has a couple of differnt choices.

http://www.goldeagle.com/heet/products.htm for more

i ussually go for the ISO-HEET, it works a bit better for removing water.

If i remeber right it said it was my downstream o2 sensor but ive replaced all of my o2 sensors not even 150 miles ago.

mmm....odd

were they quality replacements?
could you have water in your gas?
could it just be coincidence that it happens with 1/4 tank?

other than that im at a loss.
279  General Category / Questions and problems / Re: Check Engine Light on: February 14, 2008, 01:33:30 PM
get some HEET. you may have gotten some watered down gas and when it gets to a quarter tank it delutes the gas to the point that the engine starts to stumble a bit, may not be enough for you to notice, but the engine sensors might.

could you provide us with the CEL number? then we could pinpoint the problem a bit better.
280  General Category / General Discussion / Re: CHECK THIS OUT on: February 14, 2008, 01:31:01 PM
yeah, i've heard about these.

lol, i love top gear...."crazy sexy dutch"

but yeah, if the price drops enough, these will sell like hotcakes.

the neat part about thier engine is(if memory serves me correctly, which is a rare instance) the gas is not used for propulsion at all, it uses gas to generate electricty, electricty actually drives it. they did this so that without changing anything, they can pick and choose the source of electricity, in the future, so if diesel prices drop, and gas prices skyrocket you can get a diesel model, if gas goes away, you get a fuel cell and bolt on a hydrogen tank.

its really neat concept actually, and its all i need for day-to-day travel, because i travel alone 90% of the time, contemplating getting a motorcycle but its rarely nice enough to use it around here. so one of these would be perfect for me.

and they do look like alot of fun AND easy to find parking for Tongue

Mustang II model prior to the King Cobra of 1978.  It has a pinto and maverick looking front end. I believe these were dark years for the mustang. I like them!!

thats not a mustang, they stopped making mustangs in 1973

1974-1978 they were mustang IIs. not mustangs.
1979-1993 they were glorified, mislabeled econo-cars.
1994 they started making real mustangs again.

20 years without a true mustang.
