autozoo is the walmart of the parts stores; good prices, excremental products, i only buy sealed stuff at autozone, fluids, wiper blades, crap like that, nothing that they can open and show me. for that i go to Napa or Advance(depending on how far im willing to drive, my Napa is pretty far away but its worth it) i don't have an O'Reillys, but i have heard alot of good things.

you could have resistance in the wires, check the wires themselves, as i said earlier, its ussually not what you were messing with but something around it.

i'd just go through and make sure your wires arent green.

springs, shocks, ball-joints, and bushings, could all be culprits.

i'd have to hear it, they all make creaking, squeaking sounds, but its differnt for each one. i know a buddy of mine had a jeep that creaked really bad, thought it was his springs, replaced his springs, still creaked. it was a bushing that was going bad.

the speed sensors shouldnt have anything to do with it starting...unless im missing something.

when you were messing with the wires down by the tranny did you happen to disturb some other wire(thinking specificly about the crank position sensor, not exactly sure where they are in relation to each other on our beasts.)

im with DT on this, its unlikey that a whole new situation presented itself when you just happened to work on stuff, but stranger things have happened. its probably something simple. as an example, i changed plugs and wires on a 1973 nova, and it wouldnt start, crank, no start, well i had, while pulling off the coil wire, damaged one of the power supply wires for the coil(don't ask how, i think it had been damaged previously i just killed it the rest of the way), the point is just cause you weren't working on it doesnt mean you didnt break it, from personal experience Wink

good job JBI.

The Renegade looks like a frog.. lol.. but it's doable.
The Zeo is definitely doable and reminds me of a Zonda with the rear section.
The Beluga Whale, I mean, the Eco Voyager is just ..... eww. eww eww eww eww eww eww... and the cup holder sucks.

And yes, i know these are just concepts. hopefully the whale will get beached.

The Jeep frog and the The Crystler Whale, they really are trying to merge with nature.

i couldn't think of an animal to describe the Zeo, but it looks like a stretched and squated VW golf to me.

eh i don't think the cobra would mind, my car is a bit jealous, had her on the interstate yesterday and got her up to 85 and she wanted much more. i was sad when i was reminded where i live by the cherries and blueberries that had got the last poor soul who tryed to test his ride.

that was almost poetic wasnt it....

welcome

go easy on the door handles too, they will come off on you, as one of the latest victims of this design flaw i feel obliged to warn new owners, unless its already been replaced then you've got some time.
208  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Hi Everyone! on: January 19, 2008, 02:22:34 PM
hey, just to warn you(or rather your brother) your door handles WILL fall off in your hands! it was a design flaw in the door handles on these cars.

welcome to the boards.

If it's what I brought up about a year ago, I'll be very upset.

it probably is, this isnt the first time somebody has tried to use magnets as an energy source. but for the neodymiums, this is a first, the trials i always heard about they used ferrous iron, and other weaker magnets. so well see after he unveils his creation, or we hear about some yahoo that killed himself with neodymium magnets.
