Just dead things, right? hmmm. There's a lot of bad people that probably deserve to die that keep using fuel so lets have them pay society back by becoming fuel. Soylent Petrol anyone?
no source, but i remember what he was talking about, recently the published some article that it actually comes from algae after it biodegrades, and it doesnt take nearly as long as they thought it took to make it. and a couple of scientists have started working on a way to make crude oil, rather than drilling for it.
They are somewhat low profile but not low enough that wal-mart would have any problem mounting them.
I have 225/40/18 and wouldn't let any tech at wal-mart touch them if they were the only tire shop in the state. lol
LoL Daes. but any way guys, Anson was right. I called The super wal-mart that was used to be near my house in new jersey today, and i asked them how much its going to cost me to just mount the tires, and they told me $3.50 just to mount them, and $5 to balance each tire. I was planning to go to new jersey this friday any how, so i decided that I'll drive there and fill my car up since gas prices started to fall in new jersey, and just have them mount it, and il buy the tire mounter from harbor-freight some other time just so i will be able to use it and practice with it especially when I will be resanding my stock rims and painting them again{been wanting to this this for a while now}. but any wy, thanks for all the replies guys. I appreciate it.
i would hope i was right, i work there . the second number on a tire size is the heighth of the tire, anything less than 50 is low profile and alot of places don't have the equipment to mount them effectivly, its possible but a huge pain in the butt.
wal-mart mounts tires for 3.50 a tire and 5.00 to balance. and the techs are generally competent enough to do it. don't take low profile tires to them though, they'll either not do it, or they'll damage the tire.
im probably alone here, in that my avenger isnt my first love, though i do love it. my Nova is my baby. thats where all my blood, sweat and tears have gone. its my first car, the car i took my girlfriend on our first date.
why would you want to trash your car like in the first video? must not care if something breaks. it will be the same person that comes in bitching about reliability and why are these cars such pos's
dude at first glance i thought it was you doin those roasty smokey burnouts. , but i totally agree he must not like his car, or he has alot of money to fix is car.
we had a guy come in like that, he came in with a 02(i think) roush mustang and his tires were smooth and they were still warm and grippy, worn down to the belts. and 235/45R17s aren't fun to change with excrement for equipment.
it works. i can tell you exactly how to do it. my instructor at ivy tech was the guy with this system.
take some stainless steel wire, wrap it in two paths around an insulating material (lexan, plastic, glass, rubber, anything you can get your hands on). put that into a glass jar, fill the jar with water and some baking soda(this is the electrolyte) drill three holes in the lid, put rubber grommits in all of them and put bolts through two of them so it forms a seal, but doesnt make contact with the lid. attach each winding to its own bolt, label one as + and the other as -( it doesnt matter which) in the third hole run some vacuume line and pipe it into your intake(if you have a turbo pipe it in infront of your turbo), apply power to the + and attach the - to ground( its probably a good idea to wire in an on/off switch somewhere.)
and thats how you do it for a diesel or an old gasoline non-computerized engine, for a modern computerized gasoline engine you need to use a variable resistor and wire them into your o2 sensors, it makes your car think there is less o2 so it uses less fuel, so you can take full advantage of the hydrogen being extracted from the electrolyte.
and remember, this is not a fuel source. it is an additive. my instructor used 6 1pint jars in his and 12 volts in his benz. he's going to do it to his wife's jeep except he's going to use one or two large pickle jars and he's going to step up the voltage to 24 and see if that works better.
