chris, replace your suspension before you do anything above 95.

LOL    I did that in my old avenger.  96 V6 auto with Eibach Pro-kit springs + KYB-AGX struts set 3/4 front 6/8 rear

The car itself felt suprisingly stable @ 137 MPH just the fact that I could go that fast was scary as hell.  Should have been more specific.

Yup darktengu 48MM for MTX (5 speed) cars  and 52MM for ATX (4speed auto) cars so the auto throttle body would be a slight upgrade.

And probably cut down on that choked down feeling that I feel at 4,000 RPM's + in mine.

Not bad Nykon...  sounds like she would top out 140+   (although these cars aren't all that stable at that speed so I wouldn't advise it)

I went 137 in my V6 Auto and it was scary as hell.

Well you were deffinitly correct Chris with you diagnosis.  I put a vacuum gauge on there and it was very erratic.  Then I sprayed some carb cleaner around the gasket area with the car running, and it just about shut off.  I pulled the intake off today to find a gasket that looked like it had been in the Sahara desert.  It was all cracked and shifted and pieces missing.  Put on a new gasket and the car runs like a million bucks.  Thanks for all your help.

No problem man, glad I could help.

First off why does your motor need to be rebuilt so soon?  My venge has 141,000 miles and still gets 175 175 175 175 compression test...

And what are you talking about?HuhHuh?? Added power?

Your not gonna actually "add" any power if you do get it rebuilt, your just restoring the power that was there when the car was new.

Aren't the eclipses only like 300 lbs lighter?   So Nykon just needs Jared from Subway sitting in the passenger seat and his car would be as heavy as an avenger.

Well I thought I found an easy fix, started into the intake removal and found a vacuum line had popped off of the cruise control, but unfortunatly it didnt solve anything.   Where would I plug a vacuum gauge into? There are many vacuum lines on this motor.

Someone wanna help him out with this?   I'm not sure.

Ebay sells them bored to like 57 MM I think.  Or you can just get your stock one bored, or you can upgrade your manual transmission 48MM TB for an auto transmission 52MM TB for a slight gain Smiley
