what is brighter in your opinion the uv's or the reds i want people to see them while my car runs at night, and during the day,

Red is definitely brighter, UV is not very bright.

is this the full headlight with the halos or is it just the halo??? 40=while 70=blue  correct???

It's just the halo. $40 for one pair, $70 for 2 pair, color doesn't matter.

They do the job of a regular cat when the engine is cold and until the regular cat gets to full operating temp.

I'll be making some here shortly, so if anyone else wants a set let know ASAP. $40 for a pair, $70 for 2 pair. Prices include shipping. These are about as bright as you can get without going CCFL. Available in: Red, blue, yellow, orange, UV, pink, white, green or aqua. Written instructions for installation and mounting included.

ok, considering how much of a biotch it is to change the V6 plugs, go ahead and go with the best NGK platinum you can afford. you'll get alot more life out of them in the long run and better performance too. just make damn sure you gap the three in the rear so that you don't have to do all of that work again to get them out.

You're not supposed to regap platinum plugs, they will chip, just double check the gap.

The only thing I'd worry about in doing an engine swap is the computer work & wiring.  I have concidered doing the upgrade too, but not sure yet.  Even if you do the swap, I don't think the 6G72 headers would fit on the back-side. People have put 6G72 headers on a 6G73 and the rear header would not fit.  And gas is never going to get cheaper,.......but who cares, right?

I don't know about the 6G75, but the 6G74, from what I've heard, has been put into an Avenger/Sebring.  Lot's of mods, cutting, chopping, jamming in-to-tight-fit spaces has to be done.  I have no idea what all is involved, and the engine is backwards of ours. I don't know if you turn it around or what.

The 6G72 is pretty much a direct swap. The 6G74 requires some more modification. Also the transmission is on the wrong side, for that 6G74 posted on ebay.
10  Tech Forums / 6 Cylinder Tech / Re: V6 HEADER GROUP BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: January 13, 2007, 06:41:18 PM
I could be wrong but wouldnt 2000+ eclipse V6 headers bolt up to our engines?

They'll bolt up just fine to the engine, as long as it's not in your car. The subfames are diffenrent so it's not a direct fit.

BTW the guy that's making these headers is the is the same as XIR/XERD. CFM and XIR are the same and they do not do good business. Many people have gotten screwed dealing with them.

Here's a quick google search FYI:
