Do you have exterior power mirrors that are the tan/gold/caffe latte color? Also do you have the rear view mirror with the auto-dim and compass. Please email me at ebrammer252 at gmail dot com. I hardly ever check asog is the reason I'm askign for an email.
I'd like to try and find - Auto-Dim mirror from a Sebring with the compass and such - Side POWER mirrors from a sebring that match the body color (gold/caffe latte) - and a tan/gold/caffe latte raised spoiler in GOOD condition - Front bumper cover for a 97+ Avenger in caffe latte/tan/gold also in GOOD condition. - Driver's side door handle and door handle surround in caffe latte/tan/gold
Let me know if you have anything to offer. They've gotta be the color I need, I cant afford to repaint items currently.
It was ATF 4+ ONLY. New fluid and filter. No additives, and I can't afford/get a second tranny to try. I'm going on the word of Aamco that's it's fine.
I would let Disturbing Motorsports play with it, but they're 5 and a half hours away :-(
Well it was doing it on the old engine too. But yes the mounts were replaced. I replaced the fuel pump relay today too, still no luck. Had it looked at by Aamco transmissions, transmission is perfectly fine.
When the car is cruising at super low speeds like around a parking lot it feels like it surges sometimes, this is only under light gas, this does not happen at no gas. Also when cruising at 55-60 MPH if you find that spot in the gas pedal where it's a light amount of gas that holds steady at 55-60mph it feels like it's bucking and there's somewhat of a clunking sound, the whole car like kicks. It's not a consistent feeling either, some 'kicks' will be hard and rough, others will be a slight rocking or surging feeling. This morning as I was cruising around the school parking lot it started doing this 'kicking' and it died. I put it in park and restarted it, got her moving again and no problems. Well I KNOW it's not the engine, dist. cap, dist rotor, spark plugs, plug wires or anything timing related, I just had all of that replaced and this same issue was happening on the 2.5 before the 3.0 went in. I thought it had to be the torque converter going bad like engaging and disengaging, but when it died today I was a little puzzled. Anyone have any ideas?
You'll have to call them or PM them on ASEC or on here. PM either Disturbingavenger or ImtheMylf and they'll help get you pricing and parts and such all sorted out, tell em Eric sent you their way.
Mylf on ASEC --> http://aseclub.net/forums/View-Member-Profile-m2297.html Sorry I couldn't find them on here, but like I said if you don't have ASEC sign up quick or just give their biz phone a ring, if they don't pick up, leave a message that you're curious about pricing they're pretty good about returning phone calls.
Took my car to them and dropped it off on 9/28, they would have had the car ready by the night of 9/29 had I not forgotten to bring my green top injectors. Went and picked up the car 9/30, everything ran great and the engine is awesome. I had them also install polyurethane motor mounts as well as new timing belt, water pump, timing tensioner, pulleys etc. They had it all done in such a short amount of time. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend anyone wanting an engine swap, labor or parts to use Disturbing Motorsports, they were awesome! My polyurethane motor mounts broke apart on the way home due to bad polyurethane and Jim is already working on getting me a new set. Jim even helped me locate my new engine and pick it up, I will definitely do business with them again. Thanks again guys, y'all did an awesome job and I really appreciate it.
I have been planning this swap for the longest time and through the HUGE help of Disturbing Motorsports it finally came to life. I drove up to Pennsylvania and dropped the car off with them on 9/28 and picked her back up on 9/30, the car would have been running the evening of 9/29 had I not forgot to take the fuel injectors on the trip up d'oh. The new engine has 29k miles compared to my old 2.5 at 110k miles. They also installed a new timing belt, waterpump, polyurethane motor mounts and timing tensioner. Well we got back yesterday with the car. Let me tell y'all, HOLY HELL. A 3.0 on the interstate is so much fun compared to the rinky dink 2.5, I was loving every minute of it. The thing has oodles of Torque, I LOVE IT. That and the sound it makes it pretty freaking amazing also. It took a couple tries for the car to pressurize fuel and start, during which time my heart like stopped lol. Shortly after it started Jim had her out running to test her out make sure all was good and I was on my way home. For those of you thinking of doing the swap, this may be different for you, but my 2.5 was getting 18-19MPG the entire highway trip home I got about 26-27 MPG, just another benefit of doing a 3.0 swap I also got polyurethane motor mounts installed at the time of the swap, unfortunately they broke apart on the trip home due to bad polyurethane, and Jim is already working on getting me a replacement set.Thank you Jim, Beth, Scott and Jeremy, I know I bugged the piss out of y'all trying to get everything squared away and set. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend using Disturbing Motorsports for swaps, parts and any labor in general, they did an awesome job and they were all great. thanks again guys, I love it. They would have had it done in less than a weekend had I not forgotten my fuel injectors lol. I snapped a few pictures, Beth has more, I'll try and get her to post em later.
Old 2.5
New 3.0
Like I said I would HIGHLY recommend using Disturbing Motorsports, they were awesome, they made me feel safe leaving my car with them, they had the swap done in no time, Jim even helped me locate the engine and best of all they're a great bunch.
Alright guys I know it seems like a long shot but we do need 50 people to make this group buy work, so if you're interested PLEASE put your name on the list that is posted over on ASEC.
