That sucks.  Close to the same thing happened to Dave when he first got the 95 Bring... a pickup truck with a hitch backed into the hood.  Think on the good side and maybe you can get some new headlights or even a aftermarket front end should the mood strike ya.  I had my old avenger hit by a transport truck, who didn't know he couldn't make a left hand turn from the right hand lane...sigh.  Good luck with your car!  Make sure you get a loaner out of them too.
770  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Apple has new Powerbook! on: January 10, 2006, 08:17:50 PM
My Dad must be so thrilled.  He thinks the sun rises and sets around his Macs.  I've never been on a machine that crashes and locks up so much in my life and I use XP.  He has a G5 power mac and a G4 powerbook, tho he does tell me it's a bit better now that he has OSX on it.  After growing up on Apple (our first was in 1978 and an Apple II- they even still have it) I would much rather have a PC.  Looks nice tho for people that like apple computers tho.

It's always been around for a while....  http://www.cafepress.com/asog.9937183  Few other designs if you click on ASOG Store.  I'm sure if you wanted something a bit different like Mommy's Car makes me drool, or what not, Dave would do it up for you on there.  When Tara was born Rob96 gave Tara her first ASOG t-Shirt that he printed off his computer for her.  So have a look there and if you need a Mommy's car one let us know.  Smiley

Dawn dishsoap?  Wax remover?  Dunno.  Have you tried to call the company and ask them?

777  General Category / General Discussion / Photo finishing places? on: January 04, 2006, 03:27:52 PM
I have a ton of digital photos and want to get them printed.  Anyone know of a good inexpensive place that I can get them printed up?  I have too many to want to print them all with a photo printer.  A place that can ship to Ontario or Maryland would work.  I saw someplace that was 8c a print with 99c shipping, but don't know the quailty of them.  Thanks!

778  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Gay Marriage on: January 04, 2006, 02:12:15 PM
It gets complex, at least up here, from what I understand in that they can force a place to let them get married there.  So, from what I understand at least, that if a gay couple wanted to get married in a Catholic church they might be able to force the church to let them?  I might be not understanding it quite, so correct me where I'm wrong.  They should be able to have the rights of marriage, but I dunno.. so complex as then things start to infringe on other people's religous rights and then again discriminates against people who are gay.  I have no idea what to think...

My godmother is the queen of "creative engineering".  I can only think of two off hand.... one being we couldn't get the trailer lights on the horse trailer to work so we direct wired the only thing we had on hand, a million candle powered spotlight, into her Jeeps trailer wiring.  Covered it over with a brake lense from the trailer and we had a brake light.  I don't think anyone behind us had a problem knowing we were braking...lol.  She also had the lights go on her truck once while we were at an auction one night.  She followed me home with flashlights taped to her hood.  Every outing with her is quite the adventure...lol.
780  General Category / ASOG Alumni / Re: Most miles? on: January 04, 2006, 01:53:12 PM
Dave's Dads 4cyl auto has just over 300,000kms on it.  My diesel truck has 380,000kms on it now.  The two sebrings aren't up to any exciting mileage yet.
