Most shops I know of won't do it unless you are really good friends with a tech or something that would do it after hours, for liability reasons. The dealership will most definitly not do it. I don't know about another power steering pump... I will look into it when I get back from vacation, and since it is a mechanical pressure valve the computer will have no control over it.
Hmm I guess I never noticed bump steer in my Avenger... course I did all I could to dodge the obstacles that our wonderful oregon roads threw at me. As far as the speed sensitive steering.
If you look at the very top of the page, under Latest FAQ's you will see the link to removing or adjusting your speed sens. steering. Good luck.
I might help you foot the bill for an 06 Eclipse, but I get to drive it part time. Actually... nevermind, just keep fixing the Venge. I want full driver time.
ok so I just spent 15 minutes typing out the instructions for changing the colors on the factory gauges and posted it and the stupid board said I had already posted it or hit refresh and wiped it all out. I am now too pissed off to type it all out again at this moment so I will do it again later. Does anyone else ever have this problem??
I got mine from procarparts and they didn't have the Climate Controls included. I know there are a few others out there too, I just don't have them accessable where I am now. Hope this helps.
Yeah... pretty much what DT said. Do you have a lot of dusting on your brakes??
You might also take your pads out and get some anti-sqeal stuff to put on them... Also check and make sure its not the hub assy... mine was making a whining noise at 35mph and up... of coarse that was a whine more than a squeak/squeal...
Umm well... here is what I know about A/C. You push the button and cold air comes out and all is good. If not... roll down a window.
Ok but seriously, first thing I would check is any relays related to the A/C, I think there are, or is one in the fuse panel in the engine compartment, if you would like to know how to test them let me know and I will PM you or post it up here for general use. If all the relays check out I would check to make sure you have enough freon and oil in the system. If either of these are low it will cause the compressor not to click on. I had a similar problem with a Rustang (I hate Mustangs, just so everyone is clear, well except the new ones cause they are neato and fun to drive, and Saleens, and the original ones) and that is what it turned out to be. Charged the Freon in the A/C and everything was good. Other than that... I am still working on my A/C certification so I just know the very basics.
Ah yes the deadly windsheild Viper. Most common in areas with a rainy climate, such as Seattle or Portland, they have been known to attack many an unwatchful passerbye. This deadly snake likes to cling to winshields, and is most active during a torrential downpoar. They are also mostly motivated by the sound of a running engine.
