Camaro-Like the rims, like the paint, abhor the company.
Venge-it's been wrecked [check into that], I'd like to see some glossy black versions of the Venge rims.

I'm die-hard GM fan!  And no, that does not mean I'm a redneck, ignorant etc etc.  I try not to be bias, I like all car companies that deserve it and have reasons to dislike others! (mainly dislike uninformed people that are loyal to a brand because of it's emblem! not by the facts)

And as for it's been wrecked............

ya i could kind of tell lol

The story was the hood flew up on the highway, explaining the replaced hood, and dents on the roof along with a new windsheild (recipt proven).  This story seems to be within reason and I have not seen any signs of frame/misc damage that would have been caused by a big-front end accident...but they can fix cars pretty good sometimes! lol

I'm gonna paint the hideous white rims black this weekend (leaving the lip aluminum finish)
152  Tech Forums / 6 Cylinder Tech / Exhaust - Flowmaster? on: October 18, 2007, 02:07:51 AM
95 V6 avenger -

I have a flowmaster 80 series available in my barn, it's for a camaro (dual outlets on opposite sides of muffler with a single inlet)

I was thinking about modifying the outlets piping to both have them coming out the rear

or I was thinking about just replacing all the resonators (i forget how many i counted but it looked like there were alot of resonators on the exhaust system) and leaving the stock muffler on.

The cat has already been removed.

I'm looking for an exhaust with more "character" not rice...i understand it will not sound like a V8 but I want it to be a little louder and a little deeper than stock.

Anyone running flowmaster's on a 2.5?

Yea I'm taking a closer look at it this weekend, just an overall inspection/maintaince.

We have a car lift (full size mechanic shop style) in our pole barn

Do you have anything done to the TA??  Or is it all stock.

LT1 has stuff done to it (cam, P&P heads, bolt ons etc and the tranny is built to hold 500+hp w/ shift kit stock LSD etc)

paint it all black!! then blackout the wheels and paint the callipers red i think that looks pretty nice on just about any car.
I'm a huge fan of the black on black look, I intend on doing it for this avenger once I get some money (I need a few things for the TA first)

Here's my old black on black 1996 Camaro RS:

Lifetime recall meaning even if I didn't buy it new, I can get a free one?

The bushings didn't look to bad...

I might just have to get lowering springs  Wink

Yea, if you love the TA looking at it then you would LOVE it after you took it for a spin lol

Yea, the avenger is rough, I traded a 92 V6 firebird for it...so it's like I paid $1000 so i'm not complaining.

I was thinking about painting the hood black, but that might look a little ricy but I hate the two-tone excrement green look lol

123xxx miles on the 95 Venger

When I go over SMALL bumps there is a "clump-clump-clump".  It almost sounds as if something is bouncing up front pass. side of the car.

It's only when I go over small bumps 20-40mph tho, big bumps it sounds ok.

Any ideas?

Yea I have some research to do then...I thought it was a Mitsi. tranny too...

I'm not that knowledgeable on chrsler cars but the two I have owned had lots of transmission problems, but I could have gotten some bad eggs!

But I am happy with the Avenger, when Spring rolls around and I drive the Trans Am I'm gonna do some body work and get a black paint job for it...

Here's some pictures, I need to paint those god-awful white rims asap, I was thinking black or silver, anything but that white lol

and here's the Trans Am

Hey, just joined up figured i'd introduce my car and all...I just picked it up a week ago and have been quite pleased.  It's a 95 Avenger ES, 2.5V6 - Auto.   I have always liked Avengers and finally got one.  The engine is unique to me, the fastest rev'ing V6 I have driven, and I'm actually glad it has a Mitsi. engine because I'm not a fan of chrysler drivetrains.

I also have a 1994 LT1, lots of modifications pushing 350hp+ that is in storage for the winter.  So I got the Avenger as a nice, sporty winter car.
