Nice DT. What are your plans for the motor? The car's still running so thats a plus, still slower than xmas too. It's still got a tranny leak from where I had it rebuilt I think some bolts on the back cover need to be tightened I just haven't had the time or energy to fool with it. Other than that its still doin good. I'm debating getting rid of it for something faster. I just can't part with it, but I can't afford to keep it and get another car. The more I think about it the more I think I'm just gonna keep it. It's almost paid for so That'll be one less bill. Just worried about the motor crappin out on me. 141k. Still runs smooth and quiet with no smoke though so I guess it'll probably be ok. Just slow. I guess I've missed a good bit around here. I'm hopefully gonna get my computer back up soon so that'll make it much easier to stop by on a regular basis.
Hey all. Haven't been by in a while. Between computer issues and just all around being busy I haven't really had time. So what's been going on. I see Dark is building a motor. Very nice. I've still got the Bring for now, I am thinking of selling it though. Just rolled over 140K a couple weeks back. Just thought I would stop by and see what was happening.
The viper's V-10 motor was originally supposed to be a truck motor when development started, then they got the idea of slapping that puppy in a lightweight FIBERGLASS bodied sports car.
well, working at advance, I've seen worse. But not too many times. I've actually seen rotors that were all the way through and were falling apart because the were all the way down to the slats.
I need a pair of factory low beam 9006 sockets with some wire still attached to them probably 2-3 inches worth. let me know if anybody has some or can get some.
Alright Nykon, You don't have to if you don't want to but I got somebody to get it this far. If you just want to add a thin silver stripe to seperate the two colors and also add these:
1-800-853-1403. Thats the number for the Chrysler recall center. If it is possible to get reimburrsed for body damage b/c a ball joint they will be able to tell you.
Hey come on now. My thread is doing good don't kill it. Ok, so it may be VERY off topic by now, but hey it's not everyday that I get one that lasts this long you know.
I was thinking the top black and the bottom paprika, and a little higher than that like somewhere just above the tail lights. and then do like a thin silver pinstripe to seperate the two. I think that would look cool. especially if I had been able to get those black rims. Thanks though nykon it does give me something to think about.
