has anyone ever bought head bolts? i need head bolts for a 96 avenger v6 and napa and advance both say its a dealer item, napa says they have the 95 head bolts but cant get 96. what is the difference and will the 3.0 head bolts work i dont understand why they are any different for the years. any help would be great

its not designed to fail if it is taken care of it will be fine the tranny in my car didnt break until it hit 144xxx miles, if the right maintenance is done and the tires arent spun alot they will last

id drop the pan and see what is in there but if you found a good amount of metal on the magnet if the speed sensor than something is wrong internally its hard to say what it is you would have to tear it apart to be sure. you are probably right though the clutches are probably totally worn and the metal base is grinding against the steels

well i have never had any problem like this but i do know that the speed sensors can wear out, surprisingly enough, and could be the problem, they only cost like 16 bucks a piece or so i would try that before you get into something super expensive but i would check the fluid before you do anything make sure its full and clean.

ive been looking around alot for other boosted v6's ive only found one on asec that was boosted but he had the exile kit, i was wondering how i could control the timing under boost and not have it retarded all the time, i have heard of the msd kit and once heard apexi had something and megasquirt but any help or point in a good direction would be great
