300...it can drive, but not inspected...i also took some stuff off, I can take some pretty detailed pictures..and it gets better mileage than my avenger..go figure Roll Eyes its got headers on, ya just need to finish up the back end of the exhaust, you can have one of the flowmasters that comes with it, and umm...yeah...i recarpeted the interior, but it has a lot of stuff that you could sell individually if you want it.. it has the underdrive pulley also, and that's it.

Hey JB didnt get a pm, if you dont wanna sell the car thats cool with me... but if you do, ive got cash in hand and im also willing to make a drive if you pm me some pictures... Wink Wink Wink But seriously tho i dont feel pressured at all to sell your parts car Undecided Undecided,  but im definitely gonna do that jeep throttle body soon!!! Tongue Tongue

4  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Jeep throttle body write-up check it out if interested on: May 15, 2008, 02:58:33 PM
Throttle response is quicker, so i do not feel a lag whatsoever, it goes by throttle position and manifold pressure to decide amt of fuel injected.

It shifts a tad bit harder, no trouble getting to shift point, very sporty shift, (not too soft, not real hard either) I could do a zero to 60 video, but in second gear it pulls like a mf.

The throttle body isnt too big, a 10% increase in size usually does not harm the low end performance in anyway, top end gets a heavy assist though.  I wouldnt worry about lower intake velocity meaning less power, not in MY avenger Grin.

OH snap. Shocked Called out! Cheesy

Aluminum w/emblem maybe? Just throwing out ideas... Tongue I dont think it looks ricey- rice is usually parts that make the car look fast or powerfull without that added bonus, a grill does not make it look faster, just better Wink

haha my man pulled through!!! Grin

hows that throttle body working out for you btw? Did you lose a lotta low end? How does it feel when its about to shift gears? does it have trouble getting to the shift point? Im worried that intake velocity would be non existant considering the size of the throttle body compared to the engine... Huh and less intake velocity means less power  Sad

I have the cartoon also.. thinks it's still in the package. lol

I will be going to see the movie though sometime. My brother said it kicked ass.

yay keep it in that plastic and you could regift it to a nephew or somethone for christmas!!! the problem with the cartoon movie was that there was no back story, and i kinda got that vibe with the real movie... but maybe they did it on purpose so people would go out and buy the comics... hmm. cause thats what i wanted to do after i saw the movie...

no emblem. it looks more racey but not stock. I think the aluminum looks too out of place and ricer. it all depends upon the overall mood you are trying to achieve when styling your car. When you decide definitively what you want your car to be, you will have no problem figuring out which to choose.... but this is all my opinion, but in the end yours is the only one that matters

white van?! Shocked
Seems to me that while mr dane cook was robbing the local bank, the driver of "the van" stopped ot have a few brewskies!

"WHERE'S THE VAN!" *machine gun rattles* "WHERE'S THE FU*%#NG VAN!" Cheesy

Well at least shes alright. Thinks could have ended worse. I hope whoever was in that van gets taken off the road. The cops should seach for the van through the DMV. They just look for all registered white vans in the local area, and just go find one with body damage maching that of the car she was driving. Theres gotta be some colored paint left on the can itself. but thats prolly too involved. I know the cops out here wouldnt even bother... Sad
