well I'm not doin the 3.0 , i'm takin the 2.5 from another venge. I just was not sure what it would take to put the v6 in instead. I just wanna put another engine that will last. no mods , It is going to end up the girlfriends car. I got me a nice lil blazer for now......I just wanna get the venge going again. thanks peace.

Alright , I did a lil search did not come up with to much but the 3.0 . but i'm pretty sure you can swap the 4cylinder to the 6cylinder. After I had threw this rod out of the car I've been lookin for another engine. I found one but it is the V6 from a 99 venge. if it would work , is there anything extra I need with it. thanks , peace

yea , the CIA..... , well I dont know what I'm going to do. I'm just going to get a new car for now. Either wait til summer and use the venge as a project car down the road.....maybe I see a new build up for a turbo.....or just part it out. well just as a Feared , drove it to my buddys dads shop and it got bad. I pretty much knew what it was. Thrown ROD . But it is all good. I'm going to sell all my stuff that I had.

I know , It is not knockin at idle though so hopfully I dont see a rebuild in my future. it is just when I get going .....get near 30mph and thud thud thud thud...... I ended up changing my oil and while I was down there dropped the pan to look at the bearings. They looked alright , I did not see anything wierd. dropped some slick 50 to see if that may help but nope. So I'm going to check my timing next. I just dont know , If it jumped a tooth it would not do it would it...not like that. lifters seemed fine. rockers. If it is not the timing then I'm just bringing it to a shop. Hopin it is not a rod though. thanks for your help

so I took the valve cover off to take a look. everything seems alright , nice and tight. I was hopin it was just a rocker......I'll keep you updated.

All I know is I was coming home from work and all of a sudden I heard this noise under the engine. It sounds like if you would put cards in the spokes of a bike....just more of a metal sound then paper. It is nothing horrible like grinding but it thuds.....Any ways started driving again , started when I was accelerating , but when I come to a idle driving it goes away. I did the same test when I got to my house. I stopped the car and listen ....but nothing. Then I pushed the gas and it started again. It is coming from the under the valve cover right side. about where the "2.0" is. If someone has a idea what it maybe give me a shout. All I know is it is christmas time .....and this had to happen.

The headlights and taillights look angry LOL. I like it though. Seems like all cars are starting to look alike sadly though......

alright , So pretty much Done. Put all the new studs back in , just have to put my old wheels back on. Dont know what to do with the new wheels. I think I'm going to sell them. anyone need wheels  peace guys

to late I already F-ed up my car HA HA HA  , Went to autozone to get some new lugnuts right. well I did not even look what they gave me. Did not even notice it til I took off the Nuts THEY GAVE ME TO SMALL OF LUGS!!!!! See I was askin on what they thought of the situation right. And I guess because I told him what it came off of he gave me that nut. So I totally stripped the studs on my driver side  . So looks like I'm going to have to replace the studs now. Now I think the front will not be so bad ( thought I  never have done it ) but pretty much you just have to knock them out. But the rear ( drum ) you have to miss with the bearings and I really dont feel like that.........But we will have to see. I went back up to autozone and told the guy he was a tard. But so was I for not noticing before I put them on.  Also I think I found out what is the problem. See that centerlip of the hub ( dont know the name ) it is not fitting in the center of the wheel so It is not sitting correctly. That is why I believe. But also those are some wide tires. But I maybe selling them to a buddy. for his rims also. peace guys , Keep you updated - will be taking the studs out tomarrow or sunday. later
