this one is about the future release of Death Race and the good work I made on that movie shoot

and it will be good
the movie scored so much better than expected on the pre screening that the release date was changed to be 1 month earlier than expected
and what make the peoples love this movie is the fact that it is filled with good old fashion stunts with real cars and minimal CGI
and I'm proud because I was working in the second unit AKA "the stunt and action unit"

I have a swapped 2.4 engine
it is built for turbo and I do have a turbo on the shelves for it
with some parts from a caravan AWD the a604 of the avenger could be converted to AWD too

420a just have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in common with mitsubishi turbo engine


the Caliber srt-4 is not available in AWD , FED only, and that's the Caliber R/T with the 170 hp engine who is available in AWD


the Avenger R/T will be available with AWD but with a v6 engine


The Caliber was used to create the Jeep Compass and the Jeep Patriot

I talked about the stages
2003 had stage 1 and 2
2004 already came out with stage 1 installed plus a nice quaife LSD
stage 2 was cut in 2 parts with or without the turbo toys
stage 3 was for "off road" use because the turbo back exhaust system had no catalityc converter
they were sell by the dealers and if installed there the stage 2 didn't void the warranty

save all the money needed fo the full retail prices

because the closer you will be to the purchase date the least peoples you will have in your group buy

not at all the srt-4 was a hot selling machine
it's simply because the whole neon familly went out of production and were  replaced by the dodge caliber in 2007

and there is a dodge caliber srt-4 with a new 2.4L turbo engine and doing 285 hp / 260 lb torque

the srt-4 can go to 300 hp just by buying the "stages" at the dealership and 2004 and + have a quaife lsd


they were advertised with more than that and on the dyno they were doing at the wheels what Dodge was saying they would do at the crank

the lower the ratio the better the gas mileage

the higher the final ratio the lower the top speed the better the acceleration
however a lower ratio = more top speed and more traction too and if you have less wheel spin in the end the lower ratio could be quicker
a 3.94 could turn out to be too high since you have a 3.5l engine in your bay

the movie will probably be boring on DVD
it was made from the start for 3D presentation
I haven't seen it yet I'm going sunday with my familly

many theaters will show the movie in 2D too

I was the High Definition video engineer of the second unit

second unit work is usually related to stunts, special fx, pickup shots and inserts
but we also worked as camera number 3 for big main unit shots and we were also the mobile crew
