Hell Yea...Airwolf kicked ass!

With the special effects they have today it has the potential to be great.
With the record they have with making tv show movies, it has the potential to suck eggs.

I hope they get it right.

We need an Airwolf movie too.  I miss airwolf.
2  Tech Forums / Body Mods / Re: Want your headlights looking like new? on: May 08, 2006, 01:44:31 PM
I chose to buy new, only because I wanted clear corners.  I bought the ones on eBay for $140 a pair and they are Great!  Someone on the list wanted my old ones so they could practice wetsanding... Sold them for like $75....  So I made out pretty good, I got new headlights and someone got a second pair for practice!  Heres a pic....

4  General Category / Questions and problems / Re: Removing Aftermarket Tint on: March 07, 2006, 03:48:19 AM
A guy on ASEC posted this up about it, not sure how accurate it is, but hopefully its pretty accurate...

Ok  Ok  I use to tint windows...  Get something with alot of ammonia and a THIN Black trash bag.  Cut the bag so it is the Long ways and will cover the whole window.  Now.... Soak the Hell outta the inside back window... Now lay the trash bag over the glass as if it were a sticker... As little air bubbles as possible.  If your gagging from the smell your doing this right...LOL  Now tuck it under the trm and headliner so it doesnt fall off.... If its hot and sunny outside let it sit in the sun for a while with the car running and heat on full blast.  If its not sunny, oh well, just use the heat.  MOST of the tint should come off.  The tint that turns purple is VERY easy to peel off.  If you get most of it off, use the same ammonia based product and soak window again and use a 0000 brillo pad and begin rubbing back window, not only will this remove the glue, but you can Feel anything that may still be stuck on there.  It will also shine up your defrost lines and they will work faster!  If the car just cant get the back window hot enough then try the Steamer method, that works too!  What I would do is get some heat proof gloves or pliers and hold steam on there and gab tint at same time.  If you have ANY other questions feel free to ask!  While your "bagging" the back window start doing the side windows!  Oh, and tell them to be very careful around the front windows near the Mirror triangle.  The first time I tinted mine I didnt get it sitting right and after a week of not rolling windows down, I rolled my drivers side down and Riiiiipppp.  I tore it!  I hope this helps!

Thats me and its IS accurate.  I have removed tint from MANY back windows this way!

Get some of that black foam with a sticky backing.  Make sure its Thin or will compress easily.  Clean the sunroof area where your gonna apply it with alcohol.  Lay a strip or 4 down and try that.  I havent done this, but I was going to if tightening the screws didnt help, but tightening did help!

Back in high School a Buddy and me were installing a Bazooka tube in his 93 Mustang LX and the tube came with the straps and stuff to hold it down.  Well, we installed it and it sounded great!  Come to find out about a month later he got a flat tire, went to get the spare out and we had put 2 scres in his New Spare!  LOL

9  Market Place / For Sale / Re: Avenger Grey COnsole Armrest, Black factory Foglight switch on: February 07, 2006, 03:59:10 AM
Does the bulb still work in the foglight switch?  Just wondering if it would be easier to change out the whole thing rather than just replace the bulb?  Thanks.

13  General Category / Questions and problems / Re: blowing fuse on: January 04, 2006, 02:34:17 AM
I agree.  I use to install stereos and alarms, seen what this can do!  Find the problem.  I would start with popping the door panels off and using some Lithium greese on the tracks and seeing if that helps.

NEVER increase fuse size  Shocked They are designed to protect components and wiring ...Increasing the size will just either burn out the motor, switch or wiring harness ... FIND the problem ...I'd guess it could be either the motor OR the tracks might be too tight and need lubed ...
14  Market Place / Wanted to Buy / Door panel parts on: January 03, 2006, 04:48:21 AM
I need the thin defrost vents that are on top of the door panels along with the pass. Side window/lock switch cover peice.  The peice that the actual switches get screwed into when you take the dor panel off.  I need it in grey.  Thanks!
