What is the Carlisle meet? Is it just the Avenger/Sebring or anything? I wonder if I can get my venge done if i'll be able to take it and sell it, I'd like to get 4K out of it if I can, seeing how I just put close to 3 in it. Someone lemme know, I live in Tiffin, Ohio, about 20mi South of 80/90 turnpike. It'd be nice to take the body kit to try to sell. For $200 i would think it would go fast.

The deal is NOT finalized yet, and won't be until later this year.
DaimlerChrysler OWNS Mercedes. Mercedes does not, and never did, OWN Chrysler.
Daimler-Benz ceased to be when the Chrysler "merger" happened and the company was renamed "DaimlerChrysler AG."
DaimlerChrysler AG will be renamed "Daimler AG" when the deal is finalized.
Chrysler Group and Chrysler Financial was sold to Cerberus, a private investor group. Not 12 private investors.
Cerberus will create "Chrysler Holdings LLC", under which there will be "Chrysler Corporation LLC" and "Chrysler Financial LLC."
Daimler retains 19.9% ownership of the new Chrysler, primarily to facilitate the existing contracts and projects between the two companies (purchasing functions, some R&D, and some vehicles like Sprinter.)
OK - here's my caravan plan for the Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals.
A couple notes:
The speeds are based upon 65MPH. There will be at least one truck towing a trailer in the group, and 65MPH is the speed limit for such a vehicle.
Gas stops are based on 20MPG. Again, based more on the truck/trailer than anything else. The upside to traveling the turnpikes is that you are rarely more than an hour away from the next gas stop.
Stopping in Elyria, OH - just west of Cleveland, OH. It's the halfway point of the trip and as mentioned before, I cannot do the entire run in one shot anymore without getting goofy.

No harm in doubling up to save on expenses or if a car isn't done. I need to update the lodging post, but some hotels are down to 1 and 2 rooms left...
what i meant by viper is that the viper started out like this car did on a platform that didnt exist and there was no real way to build it as there was no plant, the car (viper) greenlighted only because of public opinion, so this could be the new viper if public opinion is good enough Dodge will build it somehow.
The Viper is also an $80000 very limited quantity vehicle. And was primarily greenlighted because Lutz wanted to go against GM and the Corvette.
Demon would need to exist with other models on a common platform to be viable at it's intended price point.
